Workshop: Procurement of Accessible Goods & Services
Join us on Thursday, November 06, 2025 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm (EST) to review the Accessible Canada Act’s accessible procurement requirements.
Participants will gain a practical understanding of how to apply accessibility principles in procurement processes under the Accessible Canada Act. This workshop will equip public body buyers, suppliers, and procurement professionals with the tools to identify, evaluate, and implement accessibility requirements when acquiring goods and services. Attendees will leave with valuable resources and skills to develop a clear Statement of Work (SOW) or Statement of Requirements (SOR) when purchasing direct / indirect deliverables.
Cost: $499 / participant
Workshop: Accessibility for Content Authors
We will be delivering a ½ day workshop (3 hours) on Accessibility for Content Authors.
The learning objectives:
- An overview of provincial, national, and international legislative standards.
- A general understanding of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) success criteria for people that produce content.
- An understanding of the core techniques for producing accessible content.
- An introduction and hands-on opportunities using tools to help make content more accessible.
- Opportunities to ask questions and get support with specific challenges.
